A proper Wicklow pub on the Main Street, fires lit, music weekly, Sunday roast done right, and a welcome that keeps the village coming back.
The Mount Kennedy Inn has stood at the heart of Newtownmountkennedy for generations. A proper local, the kind you walk into on a wet Wednesday and someone you know is already at the bar.
Since 2021, under new hands, we've kept what matters. A quick welcome, a perfect pint, a fire worth sitting beside. And we've sharpened the food. Chef Adam Kinsella brings gastropub plates built on Wicklow produce, still priced like the local it is.
Hearty plates built on Wicklow produce, from the dry-aged beef burger to Chef Adam's tempura haddock and Sunday's roast of the day. Something for every seat at the table.
