Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of this website and any table-booking request you make through it. By using the site you agree to them. They are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. Who runs this site
This website is operated by The Mount Kennedy Inn, Main Street, Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, referred to here as "the pub", "we" or "us". You can reach us at mountkennedyinn@gmail.com or (01) 201 1703.
2. Table bookings
Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed reservation. A booking is only confirmed once we reply to you by email or phone. We may decline a request (for example if the time is fully booked, the kitchen is closed that day, or the group size is too large for the room), and we'll tell you straight away if we do.
We don't charge to make a booking and we don't take a deposit. If you can't make it, please tell us. Repeated no-shows for large groups may mean we ask for a card to hold the booking next time.
Walk-ins are always welcome at the bar.
3. Information on the site
We do our best to keep menus, prices, opening hours and event listings accurate, but they can change, especially for daily specials, kitchen closing times and "what's on". The board at the door and the menu on the table are always the final word. We don't accept liability for any decision you make solely based on the website if the details on the night turn out to be different.
Allergens: please always tell your server in person about any allergy or intolerance. The kitchen will confirm what's safe for you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false bookings, automated submissions, abusive content in the special-requests field, or anything that could disrupt the site or the people who run it. We may refuse service to anyone misusing the booking system.
5. Intellectual property
The site's text, photographs and design are © The Mount Kennedy Inn unless otherwise credited. You're welcome to share links to the site; please ask before reproducing photographs or text elsewhere.
6. Links to other sites
Where we link out (for example to Google Maps, Instagram or drinkaware.ie) we are not responsible for the content of those sites or how they handle your data.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by Irish law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising out of your use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
